Ian Brown wins 2010 Charles Taylor Prize for Literary Non-Fiction

Ian Brown has won The Charles Taylor Prize for Literary Non-Fiction for his book The Boy in the Moon: A Father’s Search For His Disabled Son (Random House Canada).

The other three finalists were: John English for his book Just Watch Me: The Life of Pierre Elliott Trudeau, 1968 – 2000 (Knopf Canada); Daniel Poliquin for his book Extraordinary Canadians: René Lévesque (Penguin Canada); and Kenneth Whyte for his book The Uncrowned King: The Sensational Rise of William Randolph Hearst (Random House Canada).

As this year's winner, Brown takes home $25,000, while each of the finalists wins $2000.
